Tipping the Scale...

The hardest thing for me (on a personal level) to get used to now that I am a new mother is that my stomach is very jiggilly. I lost a little under 15 pounds since Morgan was born, but now that I have given up on breastfeeding I am so afraid it will come back and I still have a lot to lose since I gained some weight right before I got preggo my goal is more than I started at. I am so anxious to get out there and work out, but I know I shouldnt for another 3 weeks. However, I also start work again on 8/18 and went out to get some new clothes today at the mall. I am getting sick of my maternity clothes and my normal size clothes wont fit because my darn tummy (and thunder thighs) are so jiggily. Shirts fit ok, but my arms got pretty fat during all of this as well, lets just say Ive been wearing a lot of sweats. But, since tomorrow is Davids 25th bday and I am taking him out to dinner and a movie I wanted to get a new pair of pants and a few work shirts that are also cute to go out. So at the mall, I went to my favorite store, American Eagle which I have not been to for 8 months to get some comfy jeans. Cut to me nearly crying in the dressing room because not 1, not 2, nor 3, but 4 sizes BIGGER than I normally wear, I finally get a pair of jeans that encompasses my jiggliness and thighs and yes I have to work on getting them closed. Ugh it is depressing, but they were on sale so I got them and plan on selling them on ebay shortly. I got some shirts and then waddled my way to motherhood maternity and bought this postpardum belt thing that is so obvious through my shirt but makes me less jiggly so I am happy. I am just worried that I will not be able to take this weight off and I want to get it off now. weight has always been a bit of an issue, and I am afraid of resorting back to bad habits to stay normal like I did in High School (like not eating anything but an apple for a whole day) and figure out what I need to do to stay healthy but still being able to eat normally. A few of my shirts I bought are a little snug, but I guess it will just be motivation for me to eat healthier and get out there and lose the weight.I know it would take a few months to get back to a normal weight (9 months on, 9 months off) but I never expected to be so jiggly and well loose in my tummy lol.
