Ginormous Baby!

Baby Update

After our lovely trial run to the hospital on Wednesday night, a mere 4 hours after our hospital tour lol, my appointment was moved up to this morning. This is what I found out.

I am now measuring 36 weeks! I am barely 34 weeks. My doc is out of town next week, so she scheduled an ultrasound (yippie - my ob doesn't do routine 3rd trimester ones but since baby is huge I get one) and an appointment on 7/11 when I am technically 36 weeks. Then we will see if it is really all baby or if I have excess fluid or something. But she thinks its all baby because of how my stomach feels. I asked her how big the baby is right now (an educated guess) and she said probably very high 4lbs but probably in the low 5lbs! So if baby gains half a pound a week, she will be over 6 pounds at the ultrasound! I am hoping that they will induce me if she is indeed that big. I am hoping for mid to late July, but don't want to get my hopes up too much! If I start contracting again I need to call and reschedule my appointment for next week, so I will have to see a different doc.

Anyway, me and this huge baby are going to go get some rest. Also I gained 3 lbs in a week and a half? I almost fell off the scale in shock. My diet hasn't really changed and we moved over the weekend, so I was expecting to gain maybe a 1/2 lb at best.

Oh, and my next masters class starts Monday! Its educational psych, which should be a breeze! I will have to tell my instructor I may be missing a few days, luckily its all online!

Big Baby!

Internet is finally set up! I missed being able to go online anytime and blog!

Last Tuesday I had my 32 weeks appointment, Everything looks good, except I am measuring 2 and a half weeks early!!!! She was measuring 34 and a half weeks. Doc told me to pack my bags which effectively freaked us out! I forgot to ask her if that means if I go into labor anytime after Friday (when I would be 34 weeks, measuring over 36 weeks) if my labor would be stopped or not. I will have to wait until my next appointment next week. Hopefully she will stay in until 4th of July weekend at least, after that I think I will have this house organized and ready for her! The only thing I have gotten done so far is washed all her clothes, bath and bedding (which took 2 days ha-ha) everything else is in boxes!

Update!

So long time no post. I decided I would be proactive and have our cable and internet and such turned off two weeks ago and I keep forgetting to log on here when I go to the library to go online.

We are moving on Friday night! I have been packing like mad trying to get everything done. But I have also been so tired lately that I can't do much. I packed our bookshelf last week and since I was being stubborn and wanted the boxes in the garage, I moved them myself - BIG mistake. I seriously thought I was going into labor. I had stabbing pains on and off for about an hour, then I fell asleep so I guess it wasnt too horrible. Scary though, especially with David at work!

Our friend Stacie welcomed her daughter delainey rae on Friday the 13th! We cannot wait to meet her on Tuesday.

My baby shower was on Saturday, though a few of my friends were not able to make it, it was still a lot of fun! We are pretty much set in everything we will ever need, but we also got a ton of gift certificates and cannot wait to go get the "fun stuff" this week at babies r us. Thanks to everyone for their wonderful generosity.

Once we move in, I will post pictures of the nursery, i cannot wait until I can finally finish it, I have been nesting in reverse, I think I will be an organizing machine- watch out!

I was not prepared for the toll the heat would have on me, it seems in the last week, my energy level has gone down considerably, and even one trip outside gives me the worst braxton hicks. Hopefully I can make it through this move without too many BH, they are starting to hurt really bad! I cannot wait until I am 36 weeks, just 3 and a half weeks to go....then come on Morgan!
