Registry Overload

So I believe I have gone crazy with looking at registries, I keep searching for people who I know just had babies or who are having babies to see what they got and updating mine. My shower is not for 2 more months so hopefully I get over this soon. I guess I secretly like to see what everyone else gets compared to me! This is semi pointless because, and I learned this with wedding registries, only about a quarter of the people actually follow the registry rules and either, get you things off your registry and don't tell the cashier to mark them, or don't even look at your registry and just buy whatever their heart fancies. Isn't the point of registries to ask for what you need and want? If you wanted a hot pink christening gown (just an example) you would put it on your registry.

Spring Break

This week I have been on Spring Break, and have been able to get a ton done around the house. We were able to get a little bit of Morgans room done, the crib and bedding in, and now just have to wait to get our changing table and bookshelf and a few pictures! On Monday David had the day off, so we went to Michael's and got tons of stuff to make things for Morgan. David found this cute little piggy bank and painted it for her and he also painted a picture frame for her. It is so cute and they are keepsakes for when she gets older.

Finished Project!

Aloha Pink Bedding
Close Up of Morgans Name
Her Closet, which I have been banned from buying anything else for awhile

The Long Weekend

This weekend has been crazy busy, but I think I am getting some stuff done! We registered at babies r us yesterday, a fun but tiring experience. I hope we get half of the stuff we asked for, we did have fun in the toy department. I changed my mind on nursery decor, I wanted to do Classic Pooh for the longest time, but I just felt bogged down by the limited choices, so I found the CUTEST aloha pink crib set at pottery barn and bought it! Next weeks mission, get the air hockey table out of the nursery and into the garage, get the crib out of the living room and into the nursery and get the changing table from Davids mom. Once that is done I am going to see if I can find some accessories for the room and start decorating!

Here is a picture of the bedding!

Its a...G I R L

Its a Girl! Morgan Fiore will be the newest member of the family in just 150 days! She was soooo bad during the ultrasound, moving and waving and sucking her thumb, she had the hiccups and was yawning and would do opposite of what the poor tech needed her to do! I think she was putting on a show for us! Needless to say, it looks like we have a little girl who has a lot of personality already. We are so excited and can't wait until she gets here, I will post the pics when I can, I have two slightly blurry profiles because she wouldn't stop moving!

Today is the big reveal!

Today we get to find out what the muchkin is! Im so nervous and excited at the same time. The little bean was keeping me up all night, it was pretty much having a party in my stomach or something, we couldnt feel hard kicks, but even david felt the crazy movements. We decided the baby was either dancing, or we were watching the sun game (a replay I couldnt sleep it was like 1am), and it was cheering for the suns. I only slept like 4 hours because Im sooo nervous! Will post tonight with pics!

I'm a lean, mean bloggin machine...ok, maybe not so lean

So like most things I start, I get obsessed for awhile, then it will taper off until mini me is born and I am sure that I will start crazily again. I just need to find some friends blogs so I have something to distract me from my own. :)

I have been doing a pretty good job of distracting myself from thinking about Tuesday, tomorrow will be torture because I have a eye appointment at 10m, work from 11a-6pm, then I got dupped into score keeping at the ice den (thought it would be last monday) from 9-12:30am, then the hour long drive home, so I am going to get to bed at about 2am and wake up at 6am to start drinking the crazy amount of water before 7am. I know that 3 hour wait between work and the games is going to be KILLER! But, I suppose I will be kinda distracted. What I had been planning to do is work, get home around 715pm, then sleep by 730pm. No Medium, no Jon and Kate plus 8. Just blissful sleep. I almost got talked into doing tuesday night too, and Im already scheduled for Wednesday, but no thanks I will die with only 12 hours of sleep in 3 days. Im preggers people, I really dont care if you got Coyotes tickets, I already changed my schedule once.
I feel pretty good about today, I still have a ton of laundry and some clean up around the house, but I weeded some of the front yard, and I planted grass in the back! I hope hope hope hope it sticks, because my house gets like a dust bowl. And I really want to get a small above ground pool in the backyard in the next month or so because I am going to be sooo hot in the summer I need somewhere close to cool off! Walmart has them for around $100 and it has a filter and everything. I figured since we plan on moving out of Maricopa to Mesa or Gilbert in the Winter, if our new house doesn't have a pool we can take it with us, and I can teach mini me some swimming techniques!
Keep fingers crossed on the grass, and I will post picks in a few days. If you have a blog and are reading this, send me a message! :)

Baby Bump Pic - 18 Weeks 1 Day
I probably permanently stretched this arizona state shirt, but oh well. Go Devils!

LOOONG Weekend!

First of all, thanks to Stacie for making sure my baby doesn't have a complex if its a boy and sees that everyone thinks its a girl. Only time will tell! Only...2 days 19 hours, 21 minutes and 5 seconds..not that I'm counting or anything. Tuesday at 8 AM is the big reveal! Second, I have a shopping addiction, I cannot WAIT to register, just to have an excuse to go to the store. Third, I can't WAIT until Spring Break! I need a week off! My mom also wants to start planning the shower then, yay!I think we are going to have the shower on June 9th. I will be 7 months then, and with Stacie having Delaney the end of the month (and hopefully not going into labor at the shower) and with Emily's wedding in May, I think that is the only time I have. I really don't want to have it in July, mostly because at over 8 months, I don't want to be waddling to the store getting the things I still need in the 100 degree heat. I want to stay home, relax and get prepared.
Not much else is new, just spending the weekend cleaning. I seriously don't understand how our house gets so dirty, its just the two of us and we are never home! I am trying to figure out how to get it to stay clean without cleaning for hours a day, because I wont have time for cleaning once the baby comes.

I just have to share this picture, I dont even remember taking it. But boy, our little Crosby is NOT Shy haha.

Did that kid just say the f word? And other weird things that have happened this week...yup folks, its Tuesday

Interesting title eh?? This week has been going by ridiciously..nay...redonkulously slow. And I know its just because I need to know what I'm having, I need to see my baby and know everything is okay. Just 6 More days! Everyone (including everyone who voted) thinks it is a girl, which is what we kind of think too, but won't openly admit it. Baby kicks (I think) are a little harder, it just feels like my tummy gets when I am nervous, but they are getting stronger, so I'm pretty sure its baby kicks.
This poor kid went through the ringer today, first Maddie (our dog) decided to greet me this morning with a drop kick to the lower tummy. She had stopped jumping on me, but a number of factors (sleeping in a little, neighbors doing yard work) made her CRAZY about 9 AM, so she used my tummy as a projection to get out the door. Ouch! She hit my left side, but then my right side hurt for a minute - weird! Then at school one of the little boys decided to run up to me and hit my tummy with his hand, I thought he was giving me a high five - more like a sucker punch. Poor Thing!
On another note, this kid loves music, whenever I sing (again, it just could be it reacting to my horrible singing voice) or the beat, the kid loves music and is most active when there is music on. Im pretty sure its just reacting to the sudden noise, because I think it can't hear totally yet, but it is interesting. Plus it moves a lot to a few certain songs.
Apparently, the five year old class I watch during lunch has learned to use the "f" word. It was a fun surprise when one of the girls yelled, he cursed he said "f"ing, across the playground. It is pretty funny, but also not okay at school. Now, Ive had my share of kids curse this year, the young ones hear it at home, but it does not prepare you. Also, about half of the kids were saying it, so I had to do a bunch of talking to and time out threatening. They only say f'ing, so it is pretty cute, but we weren't able to figure out who actually started it. Also I got flipped off like four times when this little girl was showing me her paper cut. I was thinking, put that thing down, but I must admit its pretty cute. Gotta love what parents teach their kids.

Baby Bump

Here is my "small bump" well I personally feel huge, but I know there are still about 23 weeks to go! Also whenever I go out or am on my feet for a long time my entire tummy gets really hard. Its really weird! For fun, here is me the day I found out at 3 weeks 5 days, now I have no six pack (don't judge haha I got preggo right after halloween and then there were the 3 thanksgiving meals before I found out) but the tummy isn't huge!

Watch out for Liz! Waddling your way this summer hehe :)

Yay..its finally the weekend! Wednesdays to Fridays seem to take forever, because of scorekeeping on top of work. Time for a doctors appointment rant...i mean update.

So my appointment was at 10:25, these OB appointments usually just take 10-15 minutes, so I wasnt really worried that I would be late for work. One hour and 45 minutes later I was finally seen. Then the nurse was sooo rude! She used the doppler to find the heartbeat, held it there for 10 seconds and then just left, then later with the doctor she was like oh I see the heartbeat was 147, that very good. Now I was pretty upset at this point, because last appointment the nurse had a hard time finding it because she was looking too high, and so I was anxious enough already. Two, I waited four weeks for this appointment just to hear the HB, a few seconds of actually knowing that was the baby would have been nice.

My Kindergarten lesson, on the other hand...went fabulous. Everyone like the lesson and the kids had fun! I hope I get this job because the hours are really good and are the same time the nursery's open. Will keep you posted!
